IC-Reason to join the House of Tanisius:
Aquilius is a man with a strong bond and fierce loyalty to his country and the ways of his people. Thus he refuses to serve as a soldier in an army controlled by a barbarian "invader". Instead he is looking for a "true" Aquilonian regent to serve, and has set his eyes upon the House of Tanisius and its lady Annastasyia.

What can I offer to the House of Tanisius
A dutiful soldier who is strong and capable, forever loyal to his Aquilonian lords and a fierce defender of Aquilonia and his rulers' lands.

Background story:
Aquilonius comes from a family with a history in the military. The men ofh is family has loyally served the Aquilonian throne for generations, and he was to be no exception in that regard. He joined the military at a young age and excelled as a soldier.
For 15 years he served the throne of Aquilonia, until king Conan claimed the rule over his birth country. While his family believed that serving the throne is the only noble way, Aquilius disagreed and left the military to find a true Aquilonian ruler to serve, rather than a foreign barbarian.
