I've decided to write a post when people can find information on all aspects of the guild. Visitors and potential new recruits can read through this to find out about the House of Tanisius but may not be able to view all of the links below without forum membership.

Background Story

The house of Tanisius is an aquilonian family consisting of bloodblonds and different close relationships. Race Requirements

To maintain the Aquilonian nature of the guild there are fixed ratios in place for the Cimmerians and Stygians. They are as follows...

Cimmerian 4:1 - Recruitment open
Stygian 6:1 - Recruitment open

Class Requirements

Please note that due to the nature of the guild, magic users are generally not welcome. Demonologists, Heralds of Xotli and Necromancers will need an exceptional reason to join the guild. Tempests of Set are not welcome under any circumstances as the house worships Mitra. Bear Shaman will be considered with a good reason for joining.

The Guild City of "xxx"

The House of Tanisius is currently in the process of building a city. It is located in western Poitain, instance #12 and is as yet un-named.

The Leadership

From an IC point of view the guild is led by Thereshia Tanisius. From an OOC point of view the guild is run by the four officers.

The Officers

Ffion - Guild Politics & Inter Guild Relations
Killia - Guild Treasurer
Gedran (aka Clawbreaker)- Guild Recruiter

Guild Structure

Family - Anyone that is an actual member of the 'Tanisius' family name (Lead by Thereshia)

Servants - Anyone that serves the house as neither a priest or Guard. (Lead by Killia)

Honour Guard - Those wishing to serve the house as a protector of the Family and its Servants. (Lead by Ffion)

Holy Chapter - Priests and Templars of faith that give their life to Mitra and spiritualy advise the house in all matters holy (Lead by Thereshia)

Dark Chapter - Those that wield dark powers can somtimes be usfull to the house in ways they like to keep quiet. (Lead by Gedran)


Political Situation

Due to the nature of the guild vs guild system in Age of Conan, political enemies and allies are inevitable. By aiding one guild you risk becoming hostile with another. There are also several guilds around, bandits and the like, who have reputations that will effect guild relations. Below is our current political situation.
